Wedding Video Elegance
When evaluating a Wedding Videographer.
You most definitetly want to see samples of their work. Is the images exposed properly, not overly bright or muddy dark? This could indicate that the operator
does not know how to operate the iris on his camera. Yes video camera's are
a miracle of modern technology, but relying on auto exposure/focus IS NOT a
good way to capture all the changing scene's and lighting scenario's encountered with a wedding. Is the audio particularly the ceremony vow's, clear and concise and able to be heard distinctly, or do they sound hollow, tinny and full of echo? Does the video contain good closeup shots,of everyone, particularly the bride and groom, or does everyone kind of get lost in the background? Does the video seem to flow and are the shots steady and not wobbly? Does the edits and transitions seem to be seamless, or do they seem to be jerky and abrupt?
Chemistry, Repoire?
When talking to anyone about videography, or anything to do with your wedding for that matter, is there a chemistry or a common bond, do you have the same philsophy and mindset? Will you enjoy working with this person, or do they appear to have the attitude that they are next great Hollywood director? Most videographers have their own style, and we are no different in that reguard, however we realize that this is YOUR wedding and we welcome all your idea's and input, so we can produce a production that reflects you and your mate's personality and style.
About Us
Video Treasures is owned and operated by Mike and Barbara Trammell. We have been videotaping weddings consistently since 1989. Mike has photography training from the New York Insitute of Photography, and has been to many extenstive video workshops and training seminars and also had wedding videography articles published in the Greater Tallahassee Wedding and Reception Guide. We attend conventions, wedding video "town meetings", and are constantly honing our skills to improve the quailty of our work. Barbara brings many years of customer service experience to the table, and has a definite eye for detail and artistic issues (a woman's perspective). All our projects are shot and completed by us, we do not send projects "out of house" to be edited by other firms.
